Acute Stent Recoil After Left Main Coronary Artery PCI for Extrinsic Compression by Pulmonary Trunk

چکیده
In pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), 7% to 30% of patients experience chest pain during exercise1,2 and up 40% them may present left ventricular ischemia caused by extrinsic main coronary artery (LMCA) compression a dilated (PA).2 Because LMCA stenting provide good outcome in this situation,2-4 percutaneous intervention (PCI) is increasingly performed alleviate symptoms, avoid arrythmias, prevent dysfunction sudden cardiac death.

A Case of Extrinsic Compression of the Left Main Coronary Artery Secondary to Pulmonary Artery Dilatation
Extrinsic compression of the left main coronary artery (LMCA) secondary to pulmonary artery dilatation is a rare syndrome. Most cases of pulmonary artery hypertension but no atherosclerotic risk factors rarely undergo coronary angiography, and hence, diagnoses are seldom made and proper management is often delayed in these patients. We describe a patient that presented with pulmonary hypertensi...
متن کاملLarge coronary pseudoaneurysm with pulmonary artery fistula, six months after left main trunk stenting with paclitaxel-eluting stent.
There are no reported cases of a pseudoaneurysm leading to a fistula into the pulmonary artery after percutaneous coronary intervention. We describe a patient who developed a late pseudoaneurysm after left main trunk (LMT) stenting with paclitaxel-eluting stent, discovered during coronary angiography. Transesophageal echocardiography and contrast-enhanced computed tomographic scan revealed a pe...
متن کاملLeft main coronary artery and right pulmonary vein compression by a large pulmonary artery aneurysm.
Pulmonary artery aneurysms are uncommon and may be associated with significant morbidity and mortality. The unique combination of left main coronary artery and upper right pulmonary vein compression by a large pulmonary artery aneurysm is reported. Furthermore, the aetiology, clinical manifestations, complications, diagnostic approach, and possible therapeutic interventions are briefly discussed.

https://e-kcj.org A 66-year-old man who had a history of hypertension and diabetes mellitus presented with severe chest pain and shortness of breath during exercise for 2 weeks. His electrocardiogram showed inverted T waves on the precordial leads, V1–V5, and his cardiac troponin I level was elevated. Coronary angiography revealed a significant stenosis at the ostium of the left main coronary a...
